Job summary

Aspen Technology seeks a Senior Power Systems Engineer to design, build, configure, test and deliver advanced grid management solutions for utility customers. You will model networks from GIS data, maintain accurate distribution models, and configure ADMS tools such as Power Flow, FLISR and DERMS, collaborating with customers and remote teams.

Travel to domestic and international sites may be required as projects demand, contributing to delivery excellence with strong communication and problem

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant power/automation field.
• 5+ years in a similar utility role.
• Experience with electrical utility control systems (SCADA, DMS, DERMS).
• Experience with network modelling: GIS maintenance and data entry.
• Database knowledge: SQL/XML/Mongo/GIS.

Responsibilities

• Model and maintain grid models from GIS data.
• Configure data for ADMS tools (Power Flow, FLISR, DERMS).
• Define project requirements from contract specs and communicate with teams.
• Create project documentation and perform testing.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
