Magnus Energy seeks a (Senior) Consultant - Power System Operations & Planning to support leading European energy organisations in solving complex operational and power-system challenges. You will collaborate with TSOs, RCCs, DSOs and technology providers to advance Magnus Energy’s capabilities.

In this role you will deliver technical assignments, lead defined workstreams, perform transmission-network modelling, load-flow and contingency analyses, and contribute to client workshops, tenders and

Qualifications

BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
1-5 years of relevant professional experience in energy/power-system consultancy, TSOs, RCCs or DSOs.
Good knowledge of power system operations and operational-planning processes.
Practical experience in transmission-network modelling, load-flow and contingency analysis.
Hands-on Python or scripting experience and ability to deliver client-ready analyses.
Professional English (C1) with ability to work in an international environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical consulting assignments related to operational planning and power-system studies.
Lead defined technical workstreams and coordinate with client experts and project managers.
Use Python or scripting to automate analyses and improve delivery quality.
Contribute to client workshops, proposals and tender responses.
Support development of methodologies and reusable analytical assets, and mentor colleagues.
