Job summary

Appsierra Group seeks a Senior Power BI Consultant to design and optimize dashboards and data models for enterprise reporting. You will work with complex data landscapes, developing scalable solutions and documenting standards. The role requires independent work after onboarding and clear communication of technical choices.

You will act as a knowledge partner, sharing expertise and helping the team strengthen analytics and reporting capabilities in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards and data models to deliver high-quality enterprise reporting solutions.

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Consultant / Analytics Engineer who can develop dashboards and complex data modeling in a complex enterprise reporting landscape. The candidate should have strong hands-on Power BI skills, be able to understand complex data tables quickly, and work independently with limited guidance after onboarding. For

this assignment, the consultant is expected to independently assess requirements, propose and design scalable solutions, make technical design decisions, and deliver high-quality reporting products and documentation. In addition, the consultant will act as a knowledge partner, sharing expertise and helping the team strengthen its analytics and reporting capabilities.

Besides technical expertise, the consultant should have an open and collaborative mindset. We are looking for someone who communicates clearly and explains technical choices well.

Key deliverables may include:

• Development and optimization of Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Design and enhancement of data models and semantic layers.
• Performance optimization of existing reporting solutions.
• Improvement of data quality and source-to-report mappings.
• Documentation of reporting structures, design decisions, and standards.
• Recommendations for reporting and analytics improvements within the existing landscape.

Skills:

• Power BI & modeling: Advanced Power BI, DAX, Power Query, data modeling, star schema design and performance optimization.
• Data & reporting: SQL, APIs, data analysis, data quality checks, complex table relationships, source mapping, design standards and clear documentation.
• Additional tooling: Ability to learn enterprise tooling fast and to work with data from multiple enterprise sources.
• Mindset: Open-minded, collaborative, and comfortable sharing knowledge and expertise.
