Job summary

Cloudbeds is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the POS team to own end-to-end development across React Native apps, Python backend, and deployment infrastructure. You will work across Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS, and modern tooling to deliver reliable, offline-capable hospitality POS experiences for properties across Europe.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, Payments, and Security teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production software.
• Strong background in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Hands-on mobile/frontend or React Native development experience.
• Experience with cloud-native delivery and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end POS product engineering across app, backend, and deployment.
• Design reliable APIs, data models, and integrations across systems.
• Ensure observability, testing, release quality, and security for critical workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Payments, and Infrastructure.
