Job summary

Butlaroo is redefining hospitality tech with an AI-first ordering and payment platform. As a UX Engineer, you will shape a world-class UX across dashboard, app, kiosk, and onboarding, delivering intuitive interfaces for millions of users.

You’ll own end-to-end UX work from problem framing to implementation, tests, and iteration, leveraging React/TypeScript and a product-driven mindset to maximize conversion and user delight.

Qualifications

• You're an experienced user of AI tooling and it's a big part of how you work every day.
• A medior-to-senior front-end engineer who thinks from the product, not just the ticket.
• You build production-grade, accessible interfaces, with attention to micro-interactions and edge cases.
• You know the funnel: form hypotheses, run A/B tests and analyze results using analytics data.
• Comfortable in design tooling (e.g. Figma) and can translate designs into high-quality code.

Responsibilities

• Bring the UX of dashboard, app, kiosk, online ordering, POS, workstation, and onboarding to a world-class standard.
• Make the dashboard self-explanatory and self-serve, reducing reliance on support.
• Build and continuously optimize the onboarding-to-customer journey.
• Ensure the platform has the best and most beautiful UX across all screens.
