Fluence Energy B.V. seeks a Senior Portfolio Finance Manager to lead the financial backbone of infrastructure projects. You will implement SAP and Unifier-driven controls, ensuring accounting compliance and clear project reporting.

You'll partner with project managers to monitor budgets, forecast expenditures, and manage change orders with customers and contractors. Expect cross-functional collaboration and travel up to 20% to support project execution across international sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, international finance, business administration or equivalent.
• PMI PMP certification is advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years' experience managing construction projects and long-term service contracts.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle and financial implications.
• Advanced contract management and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with SAP, Unifier and financial systems.
• Excellent communication and time management abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%

Responsibilities

• Oversee project contract administration and financial transparency.
• Collaborate with project managers to provide real-time budget visibility.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and maintenance providers for timely deliverables.
• Lead change order negotiations with customers and contractors, including risk analysis.
• Analyze purchase requisitions and invoices for accuracy.
• Lead project reviews from initiation to close-out with thorough reporting.
• Enhance project profitability through strategic management of claims.
• Communicate financial insights to project teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain budget integrity and forecast expenditures with monthly accruals.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, customs and tax requirements.
