Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Senior Solution Architect for PLM & Engineering Applications. You will shape the future PLM architecture, define designs, and drive digitalization across global engineering platforms. Lead with strategic thinking and hands‑on delivery, aligning CAD, ERP, cloud, and security domains.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, architectural governance, and a track record of delivering scalable, secure PLM solutions in international settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of IT/engineering applications/PLM experience
• At least 5 years in a Solution/Technical Architect role
• Ideally 10–15 years in complex international enterprise organisations
• Strong PLM, CAD and engineering application experience

Responsibilities

• Define and own solution architectures for global PLM and engineering systems
• Lead architectural design activities for PLM transformation and implementation programmes
• Develop and defend High-Level Designs and Solution Designs
• Translate business capabilities into scalable, secure technology solutions
• Drive standardisation across engineering applications and processes
• Provide architectural leadership to implementation teams and partners
• Maintain lifecycle management and architecture governance
