Job summary

JBT Marel in Boxmeer invites a Senior Solution Architect PLM & Engineering Applications to lead the architecture of our global PLM and engineering platforms. You will translate business needs into scalable, secure solutions and own end-to-end lifecycle governance from strategy through implementation.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, IT, vendors, and enterprise architects, shaping modernization programs while balancing standardization with innovation in a multinational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience within IT, engineering applications, PLM, or a comparable environment.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or similar architectural role.
• Ideally 10-15 years of experience within complex international enterprise organizations.
• Strong experience within Product Lifecycle Management and engineering application environments.
• Experience with PLM platforms such as PTC Windchill, CONTACT Software, Autodesk Vault Professional, or similar.
• Knowledge of CAD solutions such as Creo, SolidWorks, and Inventor.
• Strong understanding of PLM-CAD-ERP-cloud-infrastructure-security-integrations.
• Demonstrated experience creating and defending architectural decisions, solution designs, and technology roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Define and own solution architectures supporting JBT Marel's global PLM and engineering systems landscape.
• Lead architectural design activities for strategic PLM transformation and implementation programs.
• Develop, document, and defend High-Level Designs and Solution Designs.
• Translate business capabilities and requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technology solutions.
