Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer in the Netherlands to own and evolve the CI/CD platform across AWS and Kubernetes, focusing on security, scalability, and developer productivity. You will drive IaC using Terraform/Terragrunt/Terramate, modernize Jenkins and GitHub Actions, and shape platform architecture for multi-product delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and production environments.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD systems, especially GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Strong Terraform experience; Terragrunt/Terramate familiarity is a plus.
• Proven Kubernetes experience including EKS, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Security-focused with IAM, least-privilege, secrets management, and DevSecOps.
• Ability to design scalable, maintainable platform architectures and pipelines.
• Excellent troubleshooting, incident management, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the CI/CD platform and migration of Jenkins to modern infrastructure.
• Define platform architecture with emphasis on scalability, reliability, security, and cost.
• Build and maintain IaC across AWS using Terraform, Terragrunt, Terramate.
• Design secure delivery pipelines with branch protection and production approvals.
• Improve cloud security and enforce least-privilege access and guardrails.
• Support Kubernetes infrastructure via EKS, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Contribute to observability with Grafana and Prometheus.
• Enhance internal developer platform and tooling (Backstage).
• Review and optimize Terraform modules and pipelines for consistency.
• Participate in incident triage and root-cause analysis.
• Develop automation and self-service tooling to increase productivity.
• Plan for high availability, regional resilience, and disaster recovery.
