Job summary

LessonUp is seeking a Senior Platform Automation Engineer to own our cloud platform in The Hague, NL. You will lead GCP production infrastructure, reduce technical debt, and ensure reliable, scalable systems while accelerating developer velocity through robust CI/CD and per‑PR environments.

You will collaborate with engineers and QA to wire tests, manage Terraform-based IaC, and deploy scalable production platforms, offering hybrid work options and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Platform/DevOps/SRE roles, with a track record of building developer tooling and production cloud infra.
• Experience with GCP and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) to deliver scalable environments.
• Fluency in wiring CI/CD pipelines and test frameworks to reduce flakiness and accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own Production Infrastructure & GCP Roadmap, optimize resources and ensure secure, scalable platforms.
• Provide per-PR ephemeral environments to enable fast, isolated testing.
• Run and optimize E2E tests in CI using Playwright, Jest, and Cucumber.
• Streamline CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows for rapid releases.
• Provide APIs and tools to help engineers write reliable test suites.
