Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior IT Enterprise Architect to lead the architectural design and evolution of compute, network, and database platforms in a large-scale enterprise. You will ensure alignment with business strategy, enforce standards, and guide technical governance across teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT architecture.
At least 5 years focused on computing, network, and database platforms in large-scale enterprise environments.
TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Cisco CCIE are a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the architectural design and evolution of compute, network, and database platforms.
Ensure platform architecture aligns with business strategy and technical requirements.
Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and guidelines.
Evaluate and recommend technologies to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams on integration and deployment.
Develop architectural diagrams, design specifications, and operational procedures.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
Participate in incident response and problem resolution for critical platform issues.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and security vulnerabilities.
Deliver end-to-end architecture in line with business objectives and technical and operational constraints.
Define and update Enterprise Architecture artefacts aligned with Architecture Governance.
