Job summary

Fluor Corporation in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Piping Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary piping projects through conceptual and detailed design phases. You will work with clients and the Project Manager to define and manage the technical scope, ensuring timely planning, reporting and deliverables.

You will guide designers and engineers, promoting safety, quality and sustainability while collaborating across disciplines in a dynamic, project-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of relevant experience as Senior Engineer in a professional engineering environment with exposure to complex industrial projects.
• Strong technical expertise in piping design/engineering/analysis; hands-on with Plant 3D, AutoCAD and Navisworks; Caesar II and NozzlePro are a plus.
• Experience with multi-disciplinary projects and contributing to conceptual and complex design phases.
• Ability to define and manage technical scope with the client and Project Manager, including planning, reporting, interfaces and deliverables.
• Ability to guide designers/engineers and support junior engineers.

• Work on mono- and multi-disciplinary projects, contributing to both conceptual and complex design phases.
• Collaborate with client and Project Manager to define and manage technical scope, including planning, reporting, and interfaces.
• Oversee execution of projects with designers and engineers; provide technical guidance to ensure optimal delivery.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and stakeholders on interfaces and multidiscipline input; act as a team player with ownership.
• Drive efficiency, safety, quality and sustainability in your work.
• Piping design, engineering and analysis; hands-on experience with Plant 3D, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Prepare and review conceptual and complex piping designs.
• Review piping drawings, designs and calculations.
