Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Layout & Piping Engineering Manager for a major brownfield energy project in Rotterdam. You will act as the client-side technical lead, coordinating with the EPCM contractor and site teams to deliver robust piping solutions.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive layout experience, and the ability to manage interfaces across multiple disciplines while ensuring safety, operability and project robustness.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Layout & Piping on large projects.
• Proven ability to review/challenge EPCM designs and deliverables.
• Strong grasp of plant layout, piping systems, and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide client-side technical leadership for Layout & Piping.
• Oversee piping design, routing and equipment interfaces on brownfield projects.
• Review EPCM deliverables for quality, constructability and operability.
• Coordinate inputs from operations, maintenance and site stakeholders.
• Support procurement and site activities; resolve technical issues with EPCM contractor.
• Ensure compliance with engineering, HSE and site standards.
• Collaborate with Process, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and I&C disciplines to manage interfaces.
