Job summary

WLG is seeking a Senior Partnerships Coordinator to support a NATO-defence partnerships programme. The role is full-time, based in Norfolk, United States, with relocation and NATO-5 visa arrangements.

You will develop briefings, manage liaison across directorates, and help shape engagement strategies, with up to 30 travel days per year. The assignment renews annually and requires high-level coordination and policy work.

Qualifications

Postgraduate degree in international relations, security, development or military studies.
Experience in foreign affairs or defence.
Experience in alliance structures or defence ministries.
Working knowledge of partnerships, security sector reform, defence capacity building, defence planning, military cooperation.
Experience drafting for and briefing senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Coordinate partnerships branch activities and outputs.
Serve as central contact for partnership strands across directorates.
Develop briefings, point papers, speaking notes, and reports for senior leadership.
Develop and review policies and procedures behind military partnerships.
Identify, coordinate and track activities and engagements.
Maintain corporate memory and document quality control.
Ensure information sharing complies with security policy.
Prepare and execute engagement background papers and talking points.
Travel to meetings and conferences up to about thirty days a year.
