Job summary

MSD Animal Health in Boxmeer is seeking a Senior Operator to join the start-up of a new pharmaceutical production facility. You will work closely with engineering, quality, and operations to ensure processes run and excel, contributing to SOPs, training, and bottleneck resolution.

The role requires a hands-on, quality-focused professional with around 3 years of experience in pharma/chemical/food production, knowledge of GMP, and familiarity with MES/EBR.

Qualifications

• Minimum mbo-4 degree.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or food production.
• Knowledge of GMP and automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of SOPs and work instructions.
• Train and coach operators.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks during start-up phase.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Support implementation of production processes and systems (MES/EBR, OEE+, RTMS and MDH).

What will you do?

As a Senior Operator, you will play a key role in the start-up of our new production facility. You’ll be right at the heart of the action, working closely with engineering, quality, and operations. Your mission? To ensure that everything not only runs—but excels.

Your responsibilities include:

• Contributing to the development of SOPs and work instructions.


• Training and coaching operators.


• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks during the start-up phase.


• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet timelines and quality standards.


• Driving a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.


• Supporting the implementation of production processes and systems (such as MES/EBR, OEE+, RTMS and MDH)

In addition, you bring:

• A minimum mbo-4 degree and around 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, or food production environment.


• Knowledge of GMP, production processes, and automation (experience with MES/EBR is a plus).

• English or Dutch speaking.
