Job summary

Boskalis is seeking a Project Surveyor to support a diverse portfolio of offshore and dredging projects from our Papendrecht office. You will coordinate multiple survey projects, liaise with offshore crews, clients, and subcontractors, and ensure work aligns with Boskalis quality standards.

The role requires extensive hydrographic/offshore survey experience, strong coordination skills, and willingness to travel nationally and internationally. Some weekend work may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in hydrographic, offshore, or marine survey.
• Strong operational survey background in offshore environments.
• Experience in senior field-based roles (Party Chief, Senior Surveyor, Offshore Survey Manager).
• Knowledge of hydrographic survey techniques, positioning systems, geodesy, navigation, and data processing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and validate survey methodologies and deliverables.
• Provide technical survey support to offshore, dredging, and marine projects.
• Coordinate survey activities across multiple projects.
• Support planning, risk assessments, and execution strategies.
• Review survey data, QC reports, and final deliverables.
• Act as technical focal point for survey personnel, subcontractors, and clients.
• Support mobilization/demobilization of survey spreads and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with standards and client specs.
• Contribute to development of survey workflows and best practices.
• Attend project visits, vessel inspections, and client meetings.
