Job summary

Heerema Marine Contractors Leiden is seeking a (Senior) Installation Engineer to lead offshore projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and budget compliance. You will provide technical work preparation across product lines such as Wind, T&I, and Decommissioning, and support removal, heavy lift, subsea and renewables.

The role offers opportunities to travel offshore, work with experienced teams, and contribute to innovative offshore installation methods from concept to execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master in Civil, Maritime or Mechanical Eng.
• 3–8 years of offshore engineering experience.
• Experience in project preparation and execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop offshore execution methods and lifting arrangements.
• Provide engineering, project preparation and execution support for offshore projects.
• Review and organize internal/external deliverables (drawings, reports, procedures).
• Prepare and coordinate subcontractor Scope of Works.
