Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Security Engineer (Offensive Security) based in the Netherlands. This remote-first role focuses on proactive threat hunting across cloud, SaaS, APIs, and AI/ML systems. You will lead pentests, develop exploits, and drive security-by-design with engineering teams.

You will advance automated testing, threat modeling, and secure architectures while partnering with product and leadership to strengthen security controls and programs.

Qualifications

• The candidate has 3+ years in security engineering with hands-on offensive security.
• 2+ years of software development experience in Python or Golang.
• Deep knowledge of authentication/authorization incl. OAuth and Zero Trust.
• Strong experience securing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Hands-on pentesting across SaaS apps and APIs, including manual exploitation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, and execute pentests and red-team engagements.
• Develop proof-of-concept exploits with actionable remediation guidance.
• Retest vulnerabilities to confirm remediation.
• Conduct security reviews and threat modeling of architecture and code.
• Build and maintain offensive security tooling and automation.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement Zero Trust and least-privilege controls.
• Support vulnerability management and incident response activities.
• Contribute to security roadmaps and documentation.
