Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Account Manager focused on National Security & Defence (NSD) in the Netherlands to own a major defence account, build deep relationships, and drive cloud adoption across critical programs aligned with NATO modernization commitments.

You will engage senior defence leaders and partners, shaping go-to-market strategies with primes and integrators to deliver sovereign cloud outcomes.

Qualifications

Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals.
Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
Track record of defining and executing go-to-market strategies with partners that deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Serve as single-threaded owner of a major defence account, managing full lifecycle and revenue.
Develop and execute an account strategy aligning AWS capabilities with sovereignty and modernization goals.
Engage at executive level across defence organisations and partner C-suites to position AWS for mission-critical workloads.
Define joint go-to-market strategies with defence primes, system integrators, and ISVs.
Translate cloud/AI capabilities into defence-specific mission outcomes for stakeholders.
Navigate defence procurement processes and represent AWS in forums related to defence technology.
