Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer / Security Engineer.

• Python, Ansible, API integrations, Git and IaC.
• Experience in complex, regulated enterprise environments.
• PCNSE, CCNP Security, CCIE Security or F5 certifications are a plus.

A large financial enterprise in the Netherlands is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to design, implement and manage its network security landscape, with a strong emphasis on automation and security-by-design. You'll work hands‑on with Palo Alto NGFW & Panorama, F5 BIG-IP and Cisco infrastructure, driving TLS/SSL traffic inspection and advanced threat protection across a complex, regulated environment.

About the role

This is a senior, hands‑on position combining deep network security engineering with DevSecOps and automation. Palo Alto and Panorama expertise is essential, alongside solid F5 BIG-IP and Cisco experience.
