Senior Information Security Engineer

As a Senior Information Security Engineer, you’ll play a key role in protecting mission‑critical systems and data, driving automation, and embedding security‑by‑design principles across the organization. You’ll collaborate with top engineers globally to design, build, and enhance advanced security infrastructure while leading investigations into complex cyber incidents.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and continuously improve security monitoring infrastructure (NIDS, SIEM, EDR) with a strong focus on automation and visibility.
• Develop and operationalize detection logic and incident response playbooks for evolving threats.
• Lead incident investigations, ensuring swift containment, effective remediation, and post‑incident improvement.
• Partner with internal technical teams and external vendors to build secure, resilient architectures.
• Conduct threat research and transform intelligence into actionable defenses.>
• Support security audits and compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001.
• Identify and implement technical improvements to strengthen overall security posture.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in information security engineering or operations.
• Proven expertise in securing Linux‑based environments (Kubernetes a plus).
• Hands‑on experience with automation and scripting (Python, Bash, Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong background in incident response and forensics.
• Skilled in NIDS, SIEM, EDR, and log aggregation tools.
• Experience building automations and analytics pipelines for security operations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and prioritization skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have:

CISSP, OSCP, or CKS certifications, plus familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and frameworks like CIS Controls and MITRE ATT&CK.
