Job summary

shipcloud GmbH in Rotterdam is seeking a Senior Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of backend services within our cloud ecosystem. You will translate product vision into robust architecture, drive technical decisions, and ensure services are reliable, secure, and cost-efficient.

You will collaborate with infrastructure and frontend teams, mentor colleagues, and design RESTful APIs, while focusing on performance, monitoring, and automated healing.

Qualifications

• 7–9+ years of .NET development experience.
• Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core+.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and ORM (Entity Framework).
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Team-based development and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve backend services in our cloud ecosystem.
• Lead technical decisions and ensure reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and frontend teams.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor peers.
