Job summary

Partner Company in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Back-End Developer to help evolve a modern workforce platform. You will focus on scalable back-end services, APIs, and microservices while collaborating with cross-functional teams and a distributed workforce.

You will work with .NET Core, C#, PostgreSQL, AWS, and messaging systems, contributing to design discussions and continuous learning in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional commercial software development experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with .NET and C#, preferably including .NET Core.
• At least 2 years of SQL experience, preferably with PostgreSQL and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with the OpenAPI standard and API-based services.
• Experience with message brokers, particularly RabbitMQ, is an advantage.
• Experience with AWS Cloud and cloud-based application environments is an advantage.
• Practical experience in Agile software development, particularly Kanban.
• Experience collaborating within remote or distributed teams is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to continuously learn and adopt new technologies.
• Availability to collaborate within UTC to UTC+8 time zones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance back-end features, APIs, and microservices.
• Build and maintain integrations with external platforms via robust APIs.
• Contribute to new feature design and provide technical feedback during planning.
• Ensure code quality, engineering standards, reliability, and maintainability.
• Work with product managers and data analysts to understand requirements.
• Collaborate with designers and front-end developers to support UX goals.
• Participate in an Agile environment, aiding planning and continuous improvement.
• Apply development methodologies and emerging technologies to improve practices.
