Job summary

Vivid Resourcing is recruiting for a Utrecht-based SaaS company to design, build, and maintain backend services using C# / .NET. You’ll work in an agile product team shaping scalable APIs and cloud-enabled features for hospitality businesses.

You’ll collaborate with product and design teams, own quality through testing, and help improve performance and security in a hybrid office/remote setting in Utrecht.

Qualifications

• Solid experience building applications with C# and .NET (.NET 6/7/8).
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server or PostgreSQL).
• RESTful APIs, microservices or cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• Product-minded engineer who understands feature impact.
• Strong communication with product and design teams.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and APIs using C# / .NET.
• Collaborate on architecture decisions as the platform scales.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and review teammates' work.
• Work in an agile team with short feedback loops from idea to production.
• Help troubleshoot and improve performance, reliability, and security.
• Contribute to technical decisions on roadmap, not just execution.
