Job summary

GlobalFoundries inc. seeks a Senior Member of Technical Staff in IP Engineering to lead the development and delivery of high-performance processor and compute IP solutions. You will mentor engineers, drive technical strategy, and coordinate across locations to ensure timely delivery and signoff readiness.

The role covers architecture, RTL design, verification, and collaboration with customers to align roadmaps with business goals. A Master’s degree and 10+ years in digital IC/IP is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in digital IC/IP development, design, verification, implementation, or technical leadership.
• Strong understanding of processor, memory, and system architectures.
• Proficiency with SystemVerilog, Verilog, and modern semiconductor development environments and EDA tool flows.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of advanced processor and compute IP solutions, ensuring high-quality execution and signoff readiness.
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, design, verification, implementation, and product delivery activities.
• Define and review technical strategies, development plans, specifications, methodologies, and quality processes.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, customers, and stakeholders to support roadmaps and business objectives.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to a high-performing engineering culture.
