Renesas Electronics is seeking a senior system architect to translate customer requirements into advanced connectivity SoCs. You will define architectural plans emphasizing low power, small size, and cost efficiency, and drive IP selection and vendor relationships.

The role requires a strong background in embedded systems, digital design and software architectures, with autonomy and teamwork to deliver state-of-the-art ICs. You will evaluate new platforms and monitor technology trends.

Qualifications

• Detailed technical experience in system definition/concept engineering in semiconductors.
• Strong background in digital design with a track record as a system architect.
• Solid understanding of embedded software architectures and MCUs/ DSPs.
• Knowledge of IC design/manufacturing processes and low-power wireless systems.
• Ability to analyze complex client propositions using internal knowhow.

Responsabilités

• Translate customer and standardization requirements into SoC architectures and target specs.
• Define innovative architectural plans for connectivity SoCs focused on power, size, and cost.
• Derive IP blocks and select external IP with vendor relationships.
• Assess feasibility of new product platforms and drive performance evaluations.
• Scan technologies and market trends; perform competitive analyses.
