Job summary

Adyen is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join the Anti‑Money Laundering team in Amsterdam. You will build and operate robust ML systems at scale in production, handling a high transaction volume and a hybrid stack of rules and models.

You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and compliance teams to deliver scalable Fintech models worldwide. The role emphasizes modern ML pipelines, MLOps practices, and data-driven decision making while tackling challenges like imbalanced

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in machine learning engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with end-to-end ML lifecycle in production.
• Experience processing large datasets and building data pipelines.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production ML pipelines for data ingestion, training, validation, and deployment.
• Upgrade rules-heavy systems to a modern automated AI/ML engine.
• Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to develop Fintech models.
• Collaborate with operations and compliance teams to ensure models operate worldwide.
• Address class imbalance and incomplete ground truth challenges.
• Promote and practice solid engineering standards and processes.
