Job summary

Sia, Rotterdam-based global management consulting group, is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to grow our Data team. You will shape and execute your expertise across client projects and Sia AI initiatives, collaborating with Dutch data scientists and international teams.

You will guide production ML pipelines, build scalable solutions, and mentor peers while contributing to workshops, blogging, and external events. English and Dutch fluency preferred.

Qualifications

• MSc level education in Computer Science, AI, Mathematics or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in building production‑quality ML/ DL pipelines.
• Strong ML fundamentals and domain knowledge (CV, NLP, DL).
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of Scala, C++, Java.
• Experience with cloud infra (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of AI products and grow the Data team.
• Work on client projects and internal Sia AI solutions.
• Make architectural decisions for cloud environments.
• Deliver production ML/AI solutions with solid software engineering.
• Mentor data scientists to scale models to production.
• Provide trainings, lead meetings, and organize events.
• Present at conferences and publish related content.
