Job summary

Sia Partners in Maastricht is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to spearhead AI product development and manage part of the Data team. You will collaborate with Data Scientists and other teams on client projects and internal Sia AI solutions, ensuring the implementation of high-quality ML solutions.

The ideal candidate will hold an MSc degree and have 2-4 years of experience in developing ML pipelines. Responsibilities include leadership roles, project management, and hands-on software development in a supportive and innovative environment. Fluency in English and Dutch is required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in building production-quality ML/Deep Learning pipelines.
• Good understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals.
• Expert coding skills in Python and at least one other programming language.
• Hands-on experience with database management languages.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the internal team towards the development of AI products.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team projects as a subject expert.
• Make architectural and design decisions for cloud environments.
• Build production-level ML/AI solutions.
• Guide Data Scientists in scaling up their models into production.
