Job summary

Nscale is seeking a highly experienced MEP Manager to act as on-site technical authority for all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems on a large-scale data centre build. You’ll embed with the GC, own the MEP scope, and drive delivery from pre-construction through testing and acceptance.

With 10+ years in MEP construction and deep knowledge of power, cooling and low-voltage infra, you’ll hold vendors and subs to the owner’s standards while coordinating BIM, FATs, SATs, and NCR resolutions

Qualifications

• 10+ years in MEP construction or commissioning, incl. data centres.
• Deep power and cooling system knowledge and field delivery.
• Experience with BIM coordination and clash reviews.
• Procore for submittals, RFIs, and commissioning logs.
• Bluebeam Revu for markup and coordination.
• Strong leadership and safety compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site owner’s rep for full MEP scope from pre-construction to acceptance.
• Lead MEP coordination meetings and BIM clash reviews with GC and subs.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, RFIs for technical accuracy.
• Monitor installation sequencing, quality, and code compliance.
• Coordinate MEP with IT, raised floors, and structure.
• Oversee start-up, pre-commissioning, FATs/SATs as needed.
• Provide progress summaries to the owner’s programme team.
• Manage NCRs and changes impacting cost and schedule.
