Job summary

Nscale is seeking an experienced General Construction Manager to serve as the on-site single point of accountability for a large-scale data center build. You will manage day-to-day construction execution, contractor relationships, schedule adherence, and quality across civil, structural, and MEP work.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in construction management on data centers or industrial projects, a strong grasp of CPM scheduling, cost control, and safety, and is proficient with Procore,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction management experience on data center or large-scale projects.
• Experience managing general contractors and multi-discipline teams.
• Strong command of scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Valid driver's license and on-site presence Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time, on-site construction management across all active work areas.
• Interface between GC, project team, design team, and vendors.
• Conduct daily site walkthroughs and coordination meetings.
• Monitor project schedule and identify risks; escalate delays.
• Oversee RFI, submittal, and change order processes.
• Enforce contract requirements, quality, and safety.
• Coordinate with EHS Manager, Scheduler, and Cost Manager on-site.
• Maintain daily logs, photos, and reports.
• Lead or participate in weekly OAC meetings and minutes.
• Track punch lists through completion and turnover.
• Support acceptance and turnover activities.
