ASSA ABLOY Group in Tilburg seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design and development across multiple projects. You will manage from client contact to product delivery, including prototyping, testing, supplier coordination and production line setup.

You will also troubleshoot and resolve product and manufacturing issues while driving continuous improvement. You will collaborate with production, customers and stakeholders, supported by a Dutch and English-speaking team.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Extensive experience in product development and design, preferably using SolidWorks. Experience with fine mechanical systems, generators and electric motors is a plus.
• Proven experience supporting products in production, including troubleshooting and resolving product and manufacturing issues.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.

Responsabilités

• Manage projects from initial client contact to product delivery, including product development and design, prototyping, testing, supplier coordination, parts sourcing, production line setup and process development.
• Support production and customers by analysing, troubleshooting and resolving product and manufacturing process issues through root cause analysis and the implementation of effective solutions.
• Maintain communication with team members, clients, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects related to the development process, quality, efficiency, safety and environmental initiatives.
• Support the commercial department.
