Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions in Rotterdam seeks a Material & Corrosion Engineer to design safe, reliable, and sustainable solutions for oil and gas projects. The Senior Engineer leads design work, ensures compliance with international codes, and coordinates with vendors and internal teams to deliver corrosion control solutions.

The candidate should have an Engineer Diploma and 5–10 years of oil & gas experience, with a focus on piping materials, corrosion control, and detailed design across project

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years in Oil & Gas Industry
• Engineer Diploma in relevant discipline

Responsibilities

• Responsible for selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work, and optimization of the design within the scope of the specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards and regulations.
• Proactively plan and complete activities and deliverables within agreed time frame and budget, as well as for ensuring system interfaces.
• Ensure Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with contractual requirements and SBM internal requirements.
• Apply lessons learnt and understand change impact within and across project system boundaries.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties, in accordance with contractual requirements and internal requirements.
• May be assigned as a Package Engineer with technical responsibility for the design, procurement and manufacture of the Package.
• Start leading engineers on assigned scope of work.
• May act as Discipline Lead for an assigned scope of work.
