Job summary

Cytiva, Medemblik, Netherlands, is seeking a Senior Manager Supply Chain to lead end-to-end performance from planning to distribution, ensuring on-time delivery and customer service. This on-site role sits on the site Management Team and reports to the Site Leader.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of manufacturing supply chain leadership, proven people management, and strong ERP experience (SAP and Oracle), with a track record in global matrix environments.

The Senior Manager Supply Chain is responsible for end-to-end supply chain performance of the Medemblik manufacturing site, including On Time Delivery, inventory management, order management, production planning, distribution planning, buying, customer escalation management and planning data integrity.

The role leads a sizable multifunctional team and works extensively across Cytiva's global matrix organization to ensure exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate combines deep supply chain expertise with strong people leadership, a proven ability to influence complex global organizations and blend in with the dynamics of a local production site at the same time.

This position reports to the Site Leader and is part of the site Management Team located in Medemblik and will be an on-site role.

What You Will Do

• Lead end-to-end supply chain performance, with a strong focus on improving on-time delivery and customer service levels.
• Drive effective production planning, inventory, and distribution management to balance customer demand, operational efficiency and working capital.
• Manage material planning and availability, proactively mitigating supply risks and disruptions.
• Partner closely with Customer Service as the primary contact point for supply and service issues, ensuring timely resolution, clear communication and an outstanding customer experience.
• Lead, coach and develop the planning, logistics, and supply chain teams, fostering high performance, productivity and engagement.
• Collaborate with operations, customers and global stakeholders to resolve supply issues, enhance the customer experience, ensure data accuracy and drive continuous improvement.

Who You Are

• Extensive supply chain leadership experience (10+ years in manufacturing), with ownership of end-to-end planning, execution, service levels, inventory and customer satisfaction.
• Proven people leader (5+ years), experienced in developing managers and high-performing teams while leading through organizational change and ambiguity.
• Strong track record in global matrix organizations, leveraging ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and influencing cross-functional and regional stakeholders to achieve common business objectives.
• Strong background in manufacturing, with proven success in driving operational excellence, service performance and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• Strong ERP expertise, preferably SAP & ORACLE.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotech, or healthcare products is strongly preferred.
• Lean Green Belt or Black Belt is preferred or other Continuous Improvement credentials.
• Dutch is a plus. Fluent English is mandatory.
