Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Law, Business, Quantity Surveying, or similar.
• Over 14 years within the energy industry through all phases of EPCI project delivery.
• Working experience preferably in Offshore, Subsea, or Onshore Oil and Gas related projects.
• Functional, business, and leadership expertise.
• Substantial prime contract management experience as a contractor on small, medium, and large EPC projects.
• Extensive lump sum bidding and executing experience.
• Ability to work as a team member as well as act as team leader.
• Adherence to McDermott’s integrity values.
• Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of globally consistent contract management tools, processes, and procedures
• Assist in the evaluation, development, deployment, and maintenance of global strategies to improve contract management efficiencies, increase gross profit, and minimize risks across the organization
• Assist in monitoring, measuring, and improving the level of implementation and effectiveness of the global tools, processes, procedures
• Assist in monitoring and reporting performance of the Contracts Management function
• Other duties related to the Contracts Management function, as requested by the Global Contracts Management Lead
• Own and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all McDermott policies and procedures
• Ensure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement the requirements of all McDermott policies and procedures
• Ensure the timely completion of all mandatory training by themselves and their teams
