Job summary

Coolblue is seeking a Senior Algorithm Engineer to advance our logistics with smart, scalable route optimization. You’ll build, improve and maintain algorithms for our delivery network, close to operations, and translate business questions into practical software.

You’ll collaborate with developers, Product Owner and operations, mentor teammates, and help shape features that make our route planning faster, cheaper, and more reliable across our hybrid-work environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or Math (or similar).
• 6+ years of experience in optimization algorithms or heuristics.
• Proficient in Python or another algorithm-focused language.
• Familiar with Scrum/Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve and maintain smart algorithms for logistics and route planning.
• Collaborate with developers, Domain, Development and Operations teams.
• Translate business questions into practical software solutions.
• Explain complex logic to non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach team members to improve technical and soft skills.
