Job summary

Allianz Benelux Life Corporate Actuarial is seeking an experienced actuary with strong internal model expertise to join a dynamic team in Rotterdam. You will develop, calibrate and validate the Solvency II internal model, translating complex results into clear business insights for capital management and strategic decisions.

You will collaborate with Risk, Finance and Product teams across the Benelux, contribute to governance, data quality and model change, and participate in regulatory

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant actuarial experience, including hands-on exposure to a Solvency II internal model
• Master's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, econometrics, finance or another quantitative field
• Experience with modelling platforms and programming languages such as Python, R or C++

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development, calibration, maintenance and documentation of the Solvency II internal model
• Analyse internal model results, sensitivities and movements in capital requirements
• Support independent model validation, change assessments and remediation of findings
• Strengthen internal model governance, data quality and audit trail
• Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Investment, Product and local actuarial teams to ensure consistent application of the model across Benelux
• Provide input to governance committees and explain model outcomes
• Contribute to regulatory developments and capital optimization projects
