Job summary

Acquism SARL in Amsterdam, Netherlands, seeks an experienced Senior LANSA Developer for a long-term project. The role focuses on Visual LANSA, RDML/RDMLX, IBM i (AS400) and DB2 with strong SQL and enterprise app development skills.

The successful candidate will design, develop, maintain, and optimise business applications, support integrations, and ensure production systems stability. Hybrid work with two onsite days per week.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years IT experience in enterprise application development.
• Strong hands-on LANSA development experience.
• Excellent SQL skills and DB2 knowledge.
• Professional Dutch communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise apps using Visual LANSA and RDML/RDMLX.
• Develop screens, business logic and reusable components.
• Work with LANSA Frameworks and Repository concepts.
• Develop and optimise apps on IBM i (AS400/iSeries) with DB2.
• Manage job queues, batch processing and message queues; monitor production systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and agile teams for reliable solutions.
