Job summary

NN Group Netherlands is seeking a Senior ABAP Engineer to strengthen delivery on the AMLR initiative within our SAP ERP/BP landscape. You will design and build robust ABAP solutions in a live SAP environment, contributing senior technical judgment and pairing with the existing engineering team.

You will collaborate with Product Owner, Tech Lead and QA in a Scrum team, mentoring colleagues and ensuring documentation for a smooth handover at engagement end.

Qualifications

Senior ABAP development experience in SAP ERP/SAP BP, with S4-HANA expertise.
Experience delivering in a Scrum/Agile environment and collaboration with product owners.

Responsibilities

Design, build and deliver ABAP solutions within the SAP ERP/SAP BP scope in a live SAP landscape.
Uphold clean code principles, lead peer reviews, and strengthen automated checks across the codebase.
Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions with Product Owner, Tech Lead and QA.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring, ensuring documentation for handover at end of engagement.
Consider surrounding technologies (WSO2, Databricks, Splunk) to improve end-to-end flows.
