Job summary

Databricks is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect for the Lakebase product line, focused on driving adoption of transactional data solutions within a data and AI platform. You will partner with an Account Executive to craft strategy, develop technical demos, and deliver assets that help clients make informed adoption decisions across multiple accounts and regions.

You will influence roadmaps, build customer-facing collateral, and guide clients through modern data architectures in cloud

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a customer-facing, pre-sales or consulting role influencing technical executives, driving data strategy and product adoption.
• Proven ability to co-plan large territories with Account Executives and operate across GTM and R&D teams.
• Experience collaborating with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and third-party consulting organisations to drive outcomes.
• Hands-on experience building solutions in major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Broad experience across data engineering, data warehousing, AI, ML, governance, transactional systems, app development and streaming.
• Undergraduate degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering).
• Track record of driving complex projects to completion in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with GTM leadership and account teams to design and execute high-impact engagement strategies across your territory.
• Serve as a trusted Solutions Architect and champion, building credibility to drive product adoption and vision.
• Enable clients at scale through workshops and customer-facing collateral to increase technical knowledge.
• Influence product roadmap by translating field-derived insights into strategic recommendations for Product and Engineering teams.
• Handle the most complex technical challenges as the tier-3 escalation point for the field.
