ABN AMRO Bank N.V. seeks an Engineering Expert for the FX Engineering team. You will lead design, development and operation of enterprise-scale Java applications underpinning FX technology, collaborating with Trading and Sales to translate business needs into robust, scalable solutions.

You will drive low-latency, multithreaded software while maintaining high reliability and production readiness. The role blends leadership with hands-on delivery and requires mentoring engineers across teams.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years designing enterprise software in Java.
• Strong Java 17+ and Spring Boot experience.
• Proven ability to build scalable, low-latency apps.
• Experience in Financial Markets tech, front-office support.
• Ability to translate business needs into maintainable solutions.
• Experience leading initiatives and guiding teams.
