Job summary

YorTeam B.V. is seeking an FX Trading Systems Developer to join a team building high-performance FX trading and connectivity solutions for a leading client in the banking sector.

You will develop real-time, low-latency systems, integrate REST APIs and WebSockets, and work with FIX protocols, Kafka, RabbitMQ and SQL Server. The role requires strong C#/.NET and Angular expertise in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• Several years of professional experience with C#/.NET and modern software development.
• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, multithreading and concurrency.
• Experience developing real-time, distributed or high-performance applications.
• Familiarity with FIX Protocol, trading connectivity or financial markets.
• Good understanding of FX concepts such as pricing, orders, liquidity and market data.
• Experience with SQL Server and automated testing; xUnit is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Clear communicator who works well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• An understanding of banking compliance, auditability and best-execution requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance applications using C#/.NET and Angular.
• Build and integrate REST APIs, WebSockets and real-time services.
• Work on FX trading connectivity, market data and messaging solutions.
• Contribute to FIX-based trading flows and integrations with external systems.
• Design scalable, event-driven and low-latency solutions.
• Work with technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ and SQL Server.
• Write automated unit and integration tests and support production reliability.
• Investigate incidents, troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve system performance.
• Contribute to clean architecture, observability and technical documentation.
