edenity. is expanding its regional platforms onto a single Java/Kotlin modular monolith. We are hiring several senior backend engineers to design self-contained modules, migrate the existing platform, and ensure scalable REST APIs across multiple countries.

You will work with a solution architect, embrace async collaboration, and use AI coding tools like Copilot. English fluency required; German is a plus. Remote-first, you can be based in NL, DE, BE, AT, FR or SE.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend engineering experience.
• Deep Java and Spring expertise with relational databases.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and code reviews.
• Comfort using AI coding tools in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Design and build modules within a modular monolith.
• Migrate and integrate regional systems onto a shared platform.
• Model complex data relationships and optimize PostgreSQL schemas.
• Build, secure and maintain scalable REST APIs.
