Job summary

Red Hat BeNeLux Consulting seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead IT-based projects in the Netherlands. You will guide complex and smaller projects from initiation to closure, coordinate cross-functional teams, and define project economics including budgets and staffing.

You will establish a disciplined project management culture and promote adherence to project management fundamentals, principles, and methodologies within Red Hat services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a project management role in IT-based projects.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch strongly preferred.
• Dutch or EU citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and use project management methodologies (PMI, Red Hat Services PM, agile or scrum).
• Guide project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for Red Hat Services projects with minimal direction.
• Manage projects while achieving utilization and revenue targets.
• Understand market trends and value propositions to compare with Red Hat solutions portfolio.
• Establish project metrics and reporting procedures; manage changes in operation plans.
• Staff projects with consultants and architects, considering required skills and levels of experience.
• Assist with training the project team on procedures and processes.
• Contribute to project proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules; participate in estimation and review.
