Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd in the Netherlands seeks a senior freelance IT Programme Manager to lead a large, complex IT programme through delivery. You will oversee governance across 12 tracks spanning three entities, manage dependencies, and report to senior stakeholders to keep delivery on schedule.

This hybrid, freelance role requires 40 hours per week with a minimum of two days in the office, and runs until programme delivery, expected in March/April.

Qualifications

• Around 20 years of experience at senior management level.
• Experience leading large, multi-track IT programmes in international organisations.
• Experience working in a regulated business environment.
• Strong governance and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Able to deliver to executive boards with clear reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large IT programme across 12 tracks and three entities.
• Set up and run programme governance, steering committees and decision forums.
• Manage interdependencies, priorities and resourcing across the programme.
• Act as main point of contact for senior stakeholders and executive sponsors.
• Oversee planning, milestones, budgets and go-live delivery.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues and ensure compliance.
• Provide regular progress reporting to governance boards.
• Direct track leads and project managers and support handover.
• Ensure delivery aligns with regulatory and corporate governance expectations.
