Job summary

Nova Hunte Ltd is seeking an IT Application Administrator with 6+ years in mid/large IT infrastructure environments. The role is based in The Hague, Netherlands, focusing on deploying, supporting and maintaining applications, Elasticsearch clusters, and container stacks with Kubernetes, Docker and Rancher.

Required experience includes 2+ years with micro-services and configuration management tools (Puppet/Ansible/Chocolatey), shell/PowerShell scripting, and ITIL processes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in mid/large IT infrastructure environments.
• 5+ years in application administration
• 5+ years with enterprise Microsoft or Linux server solutions
• 2+ years with micro-services and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
• 2+ years administering Elasticsearch
• Experience deploying and administering Elasticsearch clusters
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, Docker and Rancher
• Experience with Puppet, Ansible or Chocolatey
• Shell and/or PowerShell scripting
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, change, release)
• Desirable: 2+ years with Public/Hybrid Cloud (Azure/AWS)
• Desirable: DevOps knowledge
• Desirable: relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Desirable: Kong API Gateway
• Desirable: Certifications in related tech
• English language: professional

Responsibilities

• Deploy, support and maintain applications in mid/large IT infrastructure environments
• Administer and support Elasticsearch clusters
• Manage micro-services and container stacks using Kubernetes, Helm charts, Docker and Rancher
• Implement and maintain configuration management with Puppet, Ansible or Chocolatey
• Develop and maintain shell and/or PowerShell scripts
• Apply ITIL incident, change and release management
• Administer enterprise Microsoft or Linux server solutions
