Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to ensure availability, resilience, security, and performance of server, storage, virtualization, database, and end-user computing environments across Europe.

Qualificações

Bachelor level working and thinking capability.
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a comparable enterprise IT infrastructure role.
Solid experience operating and supporting servers, virtualization, databases, and workplace platforms.
Ability to learn and adapt in a continuously evolving technical landscape.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Structured and resilient mindset for operational risk, availability, and security.
Clear communication and teamwork in an international setting.
English proficiency in spoken and written; other European languages are advantageous.

Responsabilidades

Monitor, maintain, and operate Yamaha’s IT infrastructure platforms, ensuring service levels are met with ~7 colleagues.
Ensure continuity and resilience of infrastructure services; contribute to backup, recovery, and continuity measures.
Contribute to infrastructure security and risk reduction; support incident response and audits.
Manage infrastructure performance and capacity; use monitoring to identify risks and initiate improvements.
Maintain configuration and asset information; support configuration control and auditability.
Provide and evolve infrastructure platforms per IT standards and architecture direction.
Plan and execute lifecycle activities including patching and upgrades.
Stay updated on technologies and translate into practical improvements.
