Job summary

You will define and improve security policies, guide audits, and monitor IT risks within the Information Systems division. The role collaborates with the head office in Japan and internal audit, with responsibilities spanning policy creation, incident detection, and regulatory compliance, including GDPR, PCI DSS, and NIS2.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in informatics or information Management.
• Min 5 years as an information Security Officer, preferably in an international organization.
• CISSP, CISA or CISM certification.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, PCI DSS and NIS2.
• Aware of ISO27001, NIST and CobIT standards.
• Good communication and social skills in an international environment.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain information security policies.
• Create risk-based operational compliance guidelines and system hardening standards.
• Develop medium- and long-term security and privacy plans.
• Educate, train and guide IT staff on information security.
• Plan and monitor IT security controls within business processes.
• Detect, monitor, respond to and report IT security incidents or data breaches.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit and Data Protection Officer.
• Expand knowledge of Yamaha business processes and applications.
• Prepare and execute information security projects.
• Stay current with IT security developments and regulations.
