Responsibilities

• Manage immigration operations with end-to-end case management for a portfolio of clients.

• Serve as main point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and understanding needs.
• Drive customer satisfaction and retention, identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships.
• Build, optimize, and automate processes using tools and AI technologies to improve speed and user experience.
• Oversee communications with vendors, manage escalations and SLAs, and coordinate with internal teams on international expansion.

We are looking for a passionate (Senior) Immigration specialist to join our diverse & inclusive team. You’ll play a critical role managing daily operations, enabling our clients to move their talent seamlessly to the Netherlands.

Your role

In this exciting role, you’ll play a critical part in supporting the employees of our clients during the transition to a new country, and making them feel at home with a focus on immigration.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating great customer experiences, takes ownership, thrives in ambiguity, and is excited to use tech and AI to automate and streamline mobility workflows.

What you will be doing:

• Manage our immigration operations at Settly, delivers end-to-end case management for an exciting portfolio of clients
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders on immigration, mobility policies, timelines, and compliance risks.
• Serve as the main point of contact for your clients, building trusted relationships, understanding customer needs
• Drive customer satisfaction and retention, identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships and support long-term success.
• Build, optimize, and automate processes using tools and AI technologies to improve speed, accuracy, and user experience.
• Manage escalations, review root causes, identify opportunities for improvement, and turn them into solutions.
• Partner with internal teams on international expansion and build new products, ensuring we can help our clients move talent seamlessly
• Act as a liaison with our vendors, oversee communication, deliverables, escalations, and SLA’s to ensure expectations from clients & users are managed, and delivered at a high level that Settly expects.
• May oversee a junior (intern or coordinator), establish development goals, and provide regular feedback & coaching on performance
• Supports the team and clients on 30% ruling applications (training will be provided on the job, if no previous experience)

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Dutch immigration.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken)

• Detail-oriented, whilst keeping the bigger picture in mind.
• Right to work in The Netherlands
• You’re curious about innovation and AI, you have a tech-first approach to enhance immigration & global mobility processes

Bonus points (not a must have)

• Experience with other global mobility disciplines, eg 30% ruling
• Previous experience in start-up or scale-up environment
