Job summary

Settly B.V. is seeking a proactive Housing Lead to build and grow our housing practice in the Netherlands. You will help international employees relocate and feel at home, focusing on housing-related solutions and relationships with providers.

The role requires 3-5 years of experience in the Dutch housing market, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset. Flexible, remote-friendly arrangements and Amsterdam-based work are supported.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building with clients and partners.
• Strong customer service mindset with problem-solving focus.
• Proactive, solution-driven and able to design processes from scratch.
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Support clients and international employees relocating to the Netherlands with housing-related questions and solutions.
• Own end-to-end housing searches and monitor cases from start to finish.
• Build and maintain relationships with housing providers, landlords, agents, and partners.
• Resolve escalations and answer housing questions for users and clients.
• Monitor vendor performance and contribute to quality, availability, and service levels.
• Stay updated on Dutch housing market developments and housing legislation.
• Advise internal teams on housing topics and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.
• Train clients and recruitment teams on housing regulations and developments.
• Help establish and scale Settly's housing practice as the business grows.
• Handle escalations with professionalism and empathy.

Your role

In this unique and newly creating role, you'll play a critical part in making the employees of our clients feel at home with a focus on housing.

What you will be doing:

• Support our clients and their international employees relocating to the Netherlands with housing-related questions and solutions.
• Own a portfolio of end-to-end client housing searches and monitor ongoing housing cases from start to finish.
• Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with housing providers, landlords, agents, and other external partners.
• Resolve escalations and answer key housing questions of users and clients.
• Monitor vendor performance and help improve quality, availability, and service levels.
• Stay up to date with developments in the Dutch housing market and relevant housing legislation.
• Advise internal teams on housing-related topics and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
• Train and update clients and recruitment teams on housing regulations, developments, and how to manage expectations.
• Help establish and scale Settly's housing practice as the business grows.
• Handle escalations and complex housing situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Collaborate closely with our Relocation and Customer Success teams.

About you

• 3-5 years of experience within the Dutch housing market
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust with both clients and partners.
• Excellent customer service skills and a genuine desire to help others.
• A proactive, solution-driven mindset and the ability to think creatively when challenges arise
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams.
• Native-level English (spoken and written).
• Living in or around Amsterdam.
• Full driver's license. Comfortable cycling around the city to visit properties or clients when needed.
